Terms of Service

1. This is a beta

fair.ninja/Tomato is provided "as is" and "as available" during this beta. Features may change, break, or be removed without notice, and while we work hard to avoid it, data loss is possible. We do not guarantee uptime, data durability, or fitness for a particular purpose during the beta.

2. Your account

Sign in via Firebase Authentication (Google or email/password, depending on your deployment).
You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for any scopes you grant an AI assistant via MCP.
You may delete your account any time (Account portal → Data → "Delete account"), with a 7-day grace period to cancel.
We may suspend an account that violates §4 (Acceptable use) or poses a security risk.

3. Chips, the wallet, and pricing

Chips are a prepaid usage credit — not a currency, security, or investment, and they carry no cash value outside the service.
Every new account gets a welcome grant of 25 chips at no charge.
During the beta the pilot rate is $0 for every action — your balance doesn't go down from ordinary use. We'll tell you before that changes.
Top-ups run through Stripe Checkout. During the beta, Stripe is in test mode only — no real card is charged, using Stripe's published test card (4242 4242 4242 4242).
Chips purchased with real money (outside test mode) are generally non-refundable, except as law or Stripe's own dispute mechanics require for a given transaction. The final refund policy for live payments isn't set yet and will be published here first — see docs/economics.md.
We never store your card details — Stripe collects and stores them under its own terms.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to break the law or others' rights, bypass rate limits or security controls, share your account or an issued credential with someone it wasn't meant for, or use a connected AI assistant to do anything you couldn't do yourself under these Terms. Violating this is grounds for suspension or termination.

5. AI assistants / MCP

Connecting an assistant grants it the scopes you approved, acting as you, until you revoke the grant — remove the browser/session that approved it, or use "Sign out everywhere".

6. Liability and governing law

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages from using the beta, except where such liability can't be excluded (e.g. gross negligence, or rights that can't be waived). [Owner/legal to fill in governing law and venue.]
